America is down to its last two Idol hopefuls: Kris Allen and Adam Lambert. Many were surprised as Danny Gokey was eliminated.

Simon Cowell noted that Kris Allen’s performance of “Heartless” made him a real contender and gave him a shot to win the coveted American Idol 2009. He further added that next week could be a big “ding-dong” week.
