ASUS is going to release a very interesting new product. It comes in the form of the Fold/Unfold notebook. It was first sighted at CES as a concept notebook. Now, ASUS CEO Jerry Shen confirmed that they are actually building it and is due to come out in around September or October of this year.

The design of Fold/Unfold maximizes the airflow and space for the keyboard and trackpad by sliding the keyboard over the trackpad when you close the laptop. I’m sure a lot of people will be interested in actually seeing how this work. I’m just not sure on how interested you’ll be when you hear about its price tag of $1,000 to $1500. Well, at least it’s cheaper than the Macbook Air.
